A Friendly Dance Competition Featuring San Joaquin County’s Finest
Paired with Professionals from Arthur Murray Dance Studio.
February 22nd 2025

Join Us for a Night of Dancing, Fun, and Compassion!

Mark your calendars for Saturday, February 22 as we host our much-anticipated annual event – “Local Stars Dancing for the Dogs and Cats.” This unforgettable evening will feature prominent members of our community paired with professional dancers from Arthur Murray Dance Studio for an exciting competition. Get ready for a magical night as they don their dancing shoes and light up the stage!

While cheering on our talented dancers, guests will enjoy a fabulous dinner, drinks, and an evening filled with fun—all in support of the animals in our community.

The Animal Protection League (APL) deeply appreciates your unwavering support over the years. Thanks to your generosity, we’ve made significant strides in addressing the challenge of dog and cat overpopulation in our community.

We are thrilled to share our latest initiatives, including the launch of a state-of-the-art mobile spay and neuter clinic and the development of a new Animal Wellness Center. These advancements will help us provide expanded services and continue improving the welfare of animals in Stockton and San Joaquin County.

While progress has been made, there is still more to do—and you are the key to making it happen!

We invite you to be a part of “Local Stars Dancing for the Dogs and Cats.” In addition to cheering on the dancers, you’ll witness the excitement of awarding 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place prizes as well as the coveted People’s Favorite Award. Every level of participation and partnership makes a tremendous difference. Your generosity directly supports our mission to save lives and raise awareness for animals in need.

Thank you for standing with us and helping to create a brighter future for our community’s animals. We can’t wait to see you on the dance floor!

Always Grateful,
